1. Acceptance of Terms
By using Leyu Bus, creating an account, or booking a ticket, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before using the platform.
2. Service Description
Leyu Bus provides a digital platform for users to view, book, and purchase bus tickets from registered operators. Leyu Bus does not operate buses directly unless otherwise stated.
3. User Accounts
- Users must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
- Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.
- Accounts may be deleted or suspended for violation of these terms or misuse of the platform.
4. Booking & Payment
- Tickets are valid only for the specific trip, date, and time booked.
- Payment must be completed to confirm a booking.
- Tickets are non-transferable unless explicitly allowed by the operator.
5. Cancellations & Refunds
- Refund requests must be submitted before the scheduled departure time.
- Refunds are processed manually and are subject to operator approval and platform policy.
- Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method within 7–14 working days.
6. User Responsibilities
- Arrive at the departure point at least 30 minutes before scheduled departure.
- Carry valid identification matching the booking details.
- Refrain from fraudulent activity, abusive behavior, or misuse of the platform.
7. Data & Privacy
- Personal data is collected and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
- Users may request deletion of their account and data, subject to legal obligations and grace period rules.
8. Platform Availability
- Leyu Bus strives to provide continuous service but does not guarantee uninterrupted access.
- Maintenance, updates, or technical issues may temporarily affect availability.
9. Limitation of Liability
- Leyu Bus is not liable for delays, cancellations, or disruptions caused by operators, weather, or unforeseen events.
- Our liability is limited to the value of the ticket purchased.
10. Prohibited Conduct
- Use of fraudulent payment methods or false information.
- Creating multiple accounts for misuse.
- Attempting to manipulate fares, schedules, or platform data.
11. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Ethiopia. Disputes shall be subject to Ethiopian courts.
