1. Introduction

Welcome to the Leyu Bus Bus Ticketing Platform (“Platform”). By using our services, purchasing tickets, or accessing our website/app, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Definitions

  • Company/We/Us – Refers to Leyu Bus.
  • User/You – Refers to passengers or registered account holders using the platform.
  • Operator – Refers to bus service providers registered with Leyu Bus.
  • Ticket – Refers to a valid booking issued through the platform for travel with an Operator.

3. Scope of Service

The Platform enables Users to view, book, and purchase tickets for bus services operated by registered Operators. Leyu Bus acts as a service provider for digital booking and does not operate buses directly unless otherwise stated.

4. User Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate personal and contact information during registration or booking.
  • Arrive at the departure point at least 30 minutes before scheduled departure.
  • Carry valid identification matching the booking details.
  • Refrain from misuse of the platform, fraudulent bookings, or abusive behavior toward Operators, staff, or other passengers.

5. Ticketing & Booking

  • Tickets are valid only for the specific trip, date, and time booked.
  • Changes or cancellations must be requested before departure. After departure, tickets become non-refundable.
  • Tickets are non-transferable unless explicitly allowed by the Operator.

6. Refund & Cancellation Policy

  • Refund requests are handled manually. Users must contact Customer Support via phone, email, or in-app chat.
  • Refund approval depends on Operator policies and applicable timelines.
  • Refunds, once approved, will be processed to the original payment method within 7–14 working days.

7. Liability Disclaimer

  • Leyu Bus is not liable for delays, cancellations, or service disruptions caused by Operators, weather conditions, or unforeseen events.
  • Users accept travel risks associated with public transportation.
  • Our liability is limited strictly to the value of the ticket purchased.

8. Prohibited Conduct

  • Use of fraudulent payment methods.
  • Creating false accounts or multiple accounts for misuse.
  • Attempting to manipulate fares, schedules, or platform data.

9. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Ethiopia. Disputes shall be subject to Ethiopian courts.
